Share-A-Day(s) 

Join us for a weekend of MA recovery with camping, meetings, workshops, meditation, cooking, hiking, and chilling out-getting to know our East Coast fellowship!

When: September 13-15, 2019

What to Bring?

  • Camping gear: tent, pad, sleeping bag, extra blanket and pillow, camping chair/stools, cookware (mug, plates, pots)
  • Clothes- Jeans, sweats, hoodies, warm and non-cotton base layers, warm socks, hat, comfy shoes, etc.
  • Personal provisions including extra water to keep with you, or your medications- we won’t be super near stores
  • Bug spray- it might be cooler, but sometimes it can be warm
  • Special food requirements if you might need it
  • Recovery literature – optional
  • Phone chargers
  • Cash to help purchase fire wood
  • A service & fellowship mindset- pitch in to help out (take out trash, clean up, recycle, etc.) & offer to carpool if possible.

What else?

  • This is a “closed” event, open only to MA
  • Pets are allowed, but must be leashed at all times & can’t be unattended, w/ no more than 4 pets per site- latest rabies certificate must be presented at the front gate
  • There are showers onsite
  • We have a proposed agenda, but everything is optional
  • Help us spread the word!
  • We really want to get to know our East Coast neighbors!
  • No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
  • We need lots of service help to bring everyone together!

Friday, September 13

  • Check-in no sooner than 1:00 p.m., arrivals, and setting up camp
  • Group dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • Speaker Meeting at 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • S’mores- ends by 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 14

  • Group breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
  • Workshop 1: “Affirmations – Crafts activity and discussion” or Workshop 2, “Being of Service to MA” at 10:00 a.m.
  • Workshop 3: “Higher Power and the “God” Thing” at 11:00 am.
  • Group lunch at 12:00 p.m.
  • Optional Group Activity- Hiking, Moderate (1:00-2:30 p.m.)
  • Guided Meditation at 3:00-4:00 p.m.
  • Workshop 3: “Steps 1-3 and the Basics of Recovery” at 4:00 p.m.
  • Workshop 4: “Boundaries and Choices- Handling Emotions in Recovery” at 5:00 p.m.
  • Group Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
  • Topic Discussion Meeting at 8:00-9:00 p.m.
  • S’mores- ends by 10:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 15

  • Group breakfast – final meeting with meditation & count down

Packing up and checking out by 11:00 a.m.

The Sunday Somerville SobrieTEA meeting in Somerville, MA

will NOT be meeting on Sunday 12/24/17 (Christmas Eve),

but WILL be meeting on Sunday 12/31/17 (New Year's Eve).

Enter on Francesca Ave, we meet in the parlor room, upstairs behind the sanctuary.

On New Year's Eve only, this meeting will be open to ALL genders.

Come for experience, strength, hope, and hot tea.

There will be snacks to share. Hope to see everyone and Happy New Year!


The Thursday Stomp On the Roaches meeting will not be meeting on Thursday, December 28th (12/28/2017) as the Harvard Divinity School will be closed. Meetings will continue the week after.

Sunday Women’s SobrieTEA in Somerville, MA

won the Pizza Party delegate fundraiser.

They will be hosting a Pizza Party open to ALL MA members on:


Sunday May 21st at 7pm.

7pm - Eat Pizza

7:30-8:30pm - Meeting

8:30-9pm - More pizza and clean up


We will have a variety of pizza, seltzer, and some homemade iced tea.

Please feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage if you'd like.

For that date ONLY the meeting will be open to ALL genders, not just women.
